Description
Evergreen Fire Rescue will be hosting its 15th annual luminaria display on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at dusk.
Due to safety concerns related to increased traffic on the western portion of Rose Crossing, the display will continue to start at the intersection of Rose Crossing and U.S. 2 and end at Helena Flats School.
Memorial luminaries will still be sold for $5 each. Each bag has the ability for customization on the exterior to make each individual bag unique from the other and is a special way to pay tribute and remembrance to a departed loved one during this holiday season. Memorial bags will be illuminated with blue LED lights, with the remainder in white.
Proceeds from the sale of the memorial bags will go toward the maintenance/replacement of the LED lights and batteries, ensuring future luminaria displays.
To purchase one or more luminary bags, visit the Evergreen Fire station, 2236 U.S. 2 East, through Dec. 24 at 11 a.m. For more information, contact Chief Craig Williams at 406-752-4636 or email at [email protected]
