Chic Nail Lounge Kalispell just opened in Evergreen, offering a wide range of manicures and pedicures to choose from just off of U.S. 2.  

“The growth in this area particularly and the convenience of it, it connects so many people and places,” said Chic Nails owner Trish Nguyen. “When this place opened up, we thought it would be the perfect location to expand.” 

Chic Nail Lounge is the latest addition to the Nguyen family businesses. Nguyen, along with her husband, also owns The Ritzy Salon and Lounge downtown Kalispell and the various Nail Toepia locations across the valley. 

The walls of the salon are covered in flowers, purple fabric, fairy lights and more to bring in a whimsical feel. The space, which Nguyen says is the largest salon in the state, is the perfect place for a party, bridal party or more.  

The space also has a mocktail bar and free snacks and beverages.  

“If you travel to some larger cities, they have these really big salons that are beautiful. That’s the trend now is being able to do large parties, weddings, events,” Nguyen said, sitting in the salon entrance. 

The salon soft opened on March 27 and had a grand opening on May 1. In the short amount of time that the salon has been open, the pedicure chairs have already hosted groups, families and individuals visiting and from the valley.   

“I’m already seeing my vision come to life,” Nguyen said.  

The menu at Chic Nail Lounge features a variety of nail services for manicures and pedicures using a range of options from regular polish to dip nails to gel nails.  

The menu features 25 curated pedicure experiences, each named after aspects of Montana. The huckleberry glow pedicure features the state’s signature huckleberries along with an antioxidant-rich scrub, leg mask, hot stones and paraffin treatment.  

Nguyen is originally from Florida where her family also owned nail salons. She has been in the valley for 10 years with her husband Tung and their four boys. They also own M&S Meat Montana, which has plans for expansion.  

Opening the Evergreen salon is just the latest business endeavor for the family. They are currently in the planning stages of building a new salon at a location they will disclose when construction is finished, Nguyen said.  

“We’re definitely growing with the valley, we just want to be a part of it,” she said.  

Chic Nail Lounge is officially Nguyen’s sixth salon location. At the opening, the location had 25 employees. In the summertime, the Nguyen businesses employ over 150 people throughout Flathead Valley.  

“If it wasn’t for the people, our team, we wouldn’t be where we are today,” Nguyen said.  
“We have such a great team.”
