Description

The 2025 Picnic in the Park Summer Concert Series wraps up Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Depot Park in Kalispell.

The music begins at noon with Wylie Gustafson, Montana’s yodeling cowboy, whose blend of traditional Western music and charismatic stage presence has earned him fans throughout the northwest. The evening concert kicks off at 6 p.m. with Wildwind, a popular local band known for its blend of country, rock, and Americana music.

“Picnic in the Park is more than just a concert series — it’s about building community, creating memories, and celebrating summer together,” said Stephanie Brown, recreation superintendent with the city of Kalispell. “This season wouldn’t be possible without the support of our incredible local sponsors who care deeply about making our community a vibrant and welcoming place to live.”

The event is free and open to the public. In addition to great music, attendees can enjoy local food trucks, lawn games, and the chance to win raffle baskets filled with sponsor swag, gift cards, and locally donated services. Proceeds from the raffle support the 2026 concert series.
