Description
As the weather turns brisk and foliage starts to fall, Kalispell is gearing up to start sweeping leaves next week.
Kalispell Public Works crews will remove leaves Oct. 20 through Nov. 21.
The city is asking residents and business owners to rake leaves from the boulevard onto the street about two feet away from the curb. Residents should rake their leaves past the curb by the start of their scheduled collection day.
The Public Works Department has designated areas of leaf collection for each day of the week. For those wondering when to leave their leaves out for pickup, visit the city’s map at https://tinyurl.com/yazmfddy.
People are urged not to put rocks, dirt, cans, bottles, branches and similar items in the leaf piles due to risk of injury to personnel and damage to machinery.
