Description
Chloe Rice, MSU Extension Insect Diagnostician, will provide information about the Emerald Ash Borer, and invasive wood-boring beetle.
She will show you:
- how to identify EAB
- how to inspect ash trees for damage
- describe how to prevent its spread
- tell us what to do if we find them
Specimens will be available to compare EAB and look-alike insects.
Since EAB hasn't been detected in Montana, why should we care?
-Over 40% of trees in Whitehall's public spaces are Green Ash so learning how to take action, if needed, could help protect our beautiful public spaces.
