Join hundreds of trail enthusiasts in Helena, Montana, for the 25th Annual Don’t Fence Me In Trail Run. This race is all about coming together and celebrating our unifying love of the outdoors and running wild.

This iconic major recreation event has something for people of all ages; whether pushing through the 30K race, scrambling through hills and trees with the 5K or 12K courses, or taking time to sniff the wild roses in the non-competitive 5K Dog Walk, all offer opportunities to celebrate local wild lands and our connection to them.

Stick around afterwards for a party in the park with food, live music, and family-friendly fun.

Funds raised from this race support the South Hills Trail system and open lands in Helena, Montana. The South Hills Trail system can be accessed from downtown Helena and provides access for many outdoor recreation opportunities such as trail running, mountain biking and hiking.

Schedule: May 9th - Packet Pickup: 2:00pm- 6:00pm at Blackfoot River Brewing Company (66 South Park Avenue, Downtown Helena). Be sure to try the refreshing E-Trail Pale Ale, brewed to commemorate the trail work of Emmett Purcell in Helena's open space trail system.

May 10th - Packet Pickup: 6:30am for 30k, 8:00am for 12k, 5k, and 5k Dog Walk

Race Start Times: 30K – 7:30am, 12K – 10:00am, 5K – 10:30am, 5K Dog Walk – 10:45am
