Students will transform natural oyster shells into stunning decorative pieces in this relaxing evening workshop designed for adults. These handcrafted shells make beautiful jewelry dishes, decorative accents, or thoughtful gifts. No experience is necessary—this hands-on class offers the perfect opportunity to unwind, be creative, and learn a new skill in a welcoming environment.
Decoupage is the art of embellishing objects by layering patterned napkins, tissue paper, and other materials onto surfaces and sealing them with varnish. Oyster shells make an ideal canvas! Participants will learn decoupage techniques while creating shell art in styles ranging from delicate botanicals to bold, modern designs. Each person will complete multiple shells, finishing them with a glossy sealant and optional gold leaf trim for an elegant touch.
